Design Team Members have no formal governance role, but serve on volunteer committees or otherwise provide advice and assistance.
John Alexander, head of Groves Academy in St. Louis Park, board chair of Prodeo Academy in Minneapolis, a leader in efforts to strengthen literacy education in Minnesota, and resident of Venture Academy’s enrollment zone.
John Bergstrom, entrepreneur active in many early stage and growing firms, former board chair of SchoolStart and current board chair of Goodwill Industries.
Dr. Todd Bloom. As chief academic officer at Hobsons, an international software solutions and consulting firm connecting K-12 with higher education, Bloom leads Hobsons’ higher ed and K-12 policy, research, and government relations efforts. He previously served as chief academic officer of Naviance and Student Paths, director of software applications and support for Technology Information Education Services (TIES), director of consulting for eSchool Solutions, and for six years as a 5th-grade public school teacher in Hinsdale, Illinois.
