A: No! Although there are students who are in Special Education that meet with the School Social Worker, the service is for all students who attend school at Venture Academy. Please feel free to call us to request services or go to “Guardian Referrals” to fill out the form to request services.

A: No, there is no cost or insurance needed to meet with the School Social Workers. We are here to support all students!

A: While School Social Workers are mental health practitioners, social workers are not therapists. Social Workers offer mental health counseling and supports that often utilize therapeutic techniques, but differs from therapy. If you are interested in therapy, please feel free to reach out to the School Social Workers. We can help find a therapist that is a great fit for your student (or you)!
